The decision
Ask the provider to identify the exact role, weekly hours, billing cycle, minimum term and cancellation notice. Request separate amounts for setup, onboarding, equipment and any required software licences. Record whether the price includes routine supervision or only placement.
What to compare
Check absence arrangements, replacement charges and how billable hours are approved. Ask what happens when your practice closes for a holiday or changes its schedule. These details can move the real cost even when two providers show the same hourly rate.
Before you commit
Keep the quote date and expiry date with your shortlist. A public pricing page is useful evidence of the advertised offer, but your signed agreement controls your actual engagement. Do not assume one candidate's price applies to a more specialised role.
